Introduction

We build carbon fiber tubes for one specific job: getting things hot—fast. And not just warm, but intensely hot, right where you need it. These aren’t off-the-shelf parts. They’re purpose-built around a high-wattage halogen heating element that delivers a blast of focused heat. If you’re running industrial equipment that needs a compact heat source that responds instantly and keeps working, day after day, this is what you’re looking for.
The Power Behind the Heat
At the heart of it is the halogen heating element—typically 2500W, running on 400V. That kind of power density is exactly what it takes to hit serious temperatures in a small space. We keep the tube length at 300mm, so all that energy gets focused into a tight zone. No wasted heat. Just the right spot, heated exactly where you need it. But that punch comes with a requirement: your electrical supply and control circuitry have to be ready for it. This isn’t a casual setup—it’s built for demanding work.
What It’s Made Of
The heating element sits inside a quartz tube. Why quartz? Because it handles sudden temperature swings without cracking, and it lets the heat do its job cleanly. Inside, the halogen cycle keeps the filament clean, which means the output stays steady and the life is longer than you’d get from a standard incandescent element. For the electrical connection, we use an R7s connector—double-ended pins that give you a solid, stable link. It’s an industry standard, so swapping one in is straightforward. And in brutal, high-temperature environments, the quartz just keeps performing, while other materials would fail.
Where It Shines
This whole setup was designed for real-world industrial work—like PET blowing, where you need to heat a preform quickly and get it to the perfect forming temperature. The carbon fiber tube doesn’t just hold the element; it gives the whole assembly real rigidity, so it can handle the stress of the machine without flexing or failing. And because the halogen element responds fast, you get precise temperature control—exactly what you need for consistent results. There is one thing to keep in mind: this system generates serious heat. So your machine’s cooling needs to be up to the task. But if you need a tough, high-intensity heating solution that can hang in the shop every day, this is it.
