We designed these carbon fiber tubes to pack a serious punch in a small space. Think about it: you get400V and 2500W of power. That’s the kind of output that handles tough jobs without forcing you to rebuild your entire electrical setup. The 300mm length? That was a deliberate choice. It’s long enough to spread heat evenly across your target, but still short enough to slip into tight spots inside your machine. And because the thermal mass is low, it heats up almost the second you flip the switch.
What’s inside? Halogen, quartz, and a solid connection.
At the heart of it all is a halogen element, tucked inside a quartz envelope. That halogen chemistry is what keeps the element stable when things get seriously hot, and it fights off that blackening you see over time. So you get steady, reliable output. The quartz tube itself? It can handle the shock of heating up and cooling down fast, and it does a great job of sending that infrared energy where it needs to go. And the connector—we went with an R7s, two-pin ceramic. It’s a proven design. It gives you a solid, high-temp connection that’s straightforward to wire up, and even easier to service when you’re out there on the shop floor.
Where these shine—and what to watch for.
These tubes are built for industrial heating tasks, like PET blowing, where you need fast, focused heat. That high power density means you hit your setpoints quickly, which helps cut down cycle times. But here’s the reality check: that 2500W density is serious. You need proper machine cooling and thermal shielding. If you don’t manage the ambient heat, you risk cooking nearby components.
