If you’re dealing with high-density heat and you can’t afford to sit around waiting for your equipment to warm up, these lamps are for you. Instead of the old-school metal alloy elements, we went with a carbon fiber filament tucked inside a quartz tube. It’s a different approach, and it makes a huge difference in how the heat actually hits your project. Why the power matters Packing 2600W into a 640mm length gives you a really concentrated heat footprint. It’s fast. Really fast. Because carbon fiber doesn’t have the same heavy thermal mass as tungsten or Kanthal, it hits full blast almost the second you flip the switch. You aren’t wasting energy or time idling your machines. You just get to work. The science (made simple) These lamps work through infrared radiation. Instead of just heating the surface, the heat actually penetrates deeper into your materials. To keep the filament from burning out, we wrap it in high-purity quartz. It’s tough enough to handle the shock of jumping from cold to scorching hot without cracking. But here’s a heads-up: quartz is still glass. It’s fragile. If your machine vibrates a lot, make sure you’ve got solid supports in place. You don’t want a tube snapping mid-shift. Getting them installed At 640mm, these should slot right into most industrial heating banks. Whether you’re blowing PET bottles, curing paint, or drying textiles, they’ll do the job. Just a warning on the electrics: 2600W is a serious draw. Check your wiring and power supply. If your wires are too thin, they’ll overheat and fry. Not a good look. I’d also suggest using a PID controller. It keeps the filament from overshooting the temperature limit and burning itself out. And please, keep the air moving. If the area around the quartz tube gets too stagnant and hot, those end caps will fail way sooner than they should.
